The cottage in Anjum is charming and very comfortable. There is an easy to use kitchen with everything you might need, including food essentials like coffee and salt & pepper. The bed rooms are cozy, there is a comfortable living room/ dining room area which is open to the kitchen and a nice patio for sitting and eating outside. The whole place is nicely decorated and feels very homey.
Our family did a Wadlopen trip – walking through mud flats to reach 1 of the Friesian Islands – and the trips leave from Lauwersoog, a quick 8 to 10 minute drive. The whole Lawwersoog area is a beautiful national park with lots to do – flying kites, parasailing, and seeing birds and wild ponies. We also enjoyed downtown Anjum and visiting the windmill, which you can tour from top to bottom.
We would highly recommend Dayde and Felix’s charming cottage in Anjum. It was a wonderful part of our vacation.
